SACK UNETHICAL STAFF AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

Once upon a time staff was a part of a families. I still see this in many practices and I know many medical and dental practices who have the same staff for decades.

But especially in urban areas this is now becoming less as more and more employment opportunities open up.

Everyone would like to move ahead in life and it is perfectly normal for a staff in a dental practice to aspire to work in a larger organisation where they are paid more and their growth opportunities.

So in many practices especially in urban areas there is continuous staff attrition and many times staff attrition is so much that even the basic functioning of the practice of affected.

Also dental clinic is a very small organisation and most of the times cannot attract the best talent. This is especially so in the business areas of metros.
So many dentists are stuck with incompetent staff. Coupled with the social media and internet the overall moral level of all sections of the society has gone down .So the incidences of fraud and misappropriate of money has also increased.

So now the solution…
The solution seems constant training of good staff and sack incompetent and unethical staff immediately.
Many medicos and dentists delay the sacking of unethical staff till they commit a major fraud.

It is better to be without staff for sometime rather than have unethical staff.
